Off the clock. Out of reach.

A sardine settles into its tin with a newspaper, a pillow, and absolutely no intention of being disturbed. Tiny slippers and a hanging sign make the arrangement official. A little mid-century escape for anyone who takes their downtime seriously.

Why we made this

An open sardine tin becomes a tiny retreat. A reclining fish, an oversized newspaper, slippers, and a Do Not Disturb sign turn an ordinary pantry item into a scene of very serious relaxation. Flat mid-century shapes and a distressed olive, blue, red, and cream palette keep the joke understated.

Where to wear

Slow mornings, coffee runs, weekend reading, and afternoons with no appointments. Pair with jeans or easy trousers and leave the schedule open.

Care instructions

Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colors. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Do not bleach or iron directly on the print.
